Welcome to NICT

The National Institute of Crayfish Trappers (NICT) is a trade-body representing those who work in the UK non-native crayfish eco-business. We aim to provide an environmentally sound legislative framework for the UK industry, to support research and development and to promote the trapping and consumption of UK non-native crayfish as a control initiative to assist in the conservation of freshwater habitats and species.
